About Us
Rising Rhythms Story

Our Story
Rising Rhythms was born from a simple idea, to create our own concert and support the younger bands in our community. Seeing the talent within our community is so inspiring, and we believe these bands deserve to be celebrated within Pukekohe. We well know the struggle of practicing tirelessly with no one to perform for, and the standstill of progress that comes from having no shows to work for. What started as a casual comment grew into an intensive project, helped by our passion of community spirit within our business class. This will help our young ones grow not only as musicians but as people too. Rising Rhythms is a showcase of talent in an encouraging, substance-free environment, ensuring that everyone can enjoy and support the music without the burden of high costs. Together, we’re creating a space where our community shines bright and our bands shine brighter.
Meet The Team

CAo
I'm Japjeet Singh channa, originally from India came to NZ for a better lifestyle and studies, I'm the CAO of Rising Rhythms and my job in a nutshell is to manage team members and paperwork for a stable flow of work.

Comms and marketing
Hi there, I'm Yong. After school, you'll often find me on the volleyball court or catching up with friends. But when I'm home, diving into anime like Frieren and One Piece is my go-to relaxation. Currently, I hold dual roles as a Communication Officer and Marketing Director for Rising Rhythms. Although I pursued business studies last year and served as a Communication Officer, stepping into the Marketing Director role is a new challenge. Rest assured, I'm committed to giving it my all and leveraging my skills to excel in this position.

CEo
I'm Vadim, I've been playing guitar for the last 5 years and have been in 3 bands throughout my playing. As CEO of Rising Rhythms, I want to show off our local musicians by giving them a platform to share. I know that it can be hard to gather an audience for a band, so we'll be doing it for them.

Production manager
I'm Daniel Potter and I have been playing drums for nearly 7 years and am in 4 bands here at pukekohe high school. As the Production director I am responsible for behind-the-scenes of the rising rhythms concerts, in which I have strong experience in.

CFo
I’m Alexander Sharp, I am the chief financial officer. I decided to take this role as I took business studies last year in year 12 and have good accountancy knowledge.
